Why Getting Married at Timber Cove Resort in Jenner is the Dream Wedding Venue
A Wedding at Timber Cove Resort also gives you the option of keeping things intimate and actually hanging out with your guests rather than spending the entire day being shuffled from one location to another. The Ansel Adams Room can accommodate up to 120 guests and opens onto a redwood deck overlooking the ocean, while the surrounding 26-acre property gives you plenty of room to disappear for photos, wander the coastline, or simply escape the dance floor for five minutes when Aunt Linda starts getting enthusiastic. As a Jenner Wedding Photographer, we’re very into that combination of wild landscape, interesting architecture and enough weird coastal weather to keep things from looking like every other wedding you’ve seen.
Wedding and Elopement Photos around Timber Cove Resort in Jenner
For wedding and elopement photos, Timber Cove is basically cheating a little. You’ve got cliffs, ocean, redwoods, rocky coastline, wild grasses, weird little pockets of greenery and that moody Sonoma Coast light all packed into the property, so there’s plenty to wander off and photograph without turning the day into a giant production. The Events Lawn sits right above the ocean, and the resort has trails and a whole collection of coastal spots that give you plenty of variety without needing to pile everyone into a car and disappear for an hour.
For a Wedding at Timber Cove Resort, we’d be very tempted to ditch the idea of spending ages posing and just go exploring instead. Fog rolling in? Excellent. Wind making your veil behave like it’s trying to escape? Even better. Sun breaking through the clouds? Grab the cameras. As a Jenner Wedding Photographer, this is exactly the kind of place we like shooting because the landscape already has plenty going on, and the best photos tend to happen when you’re actually wandering around, laughing, drinking something fizzy and generally forgetting there are two idiots with cameras following you around.
Wedding at Timber Cove Resort in Jenner Ceremony and Reception Spaces
The ceremony options at Timber Cove Resort are pretty hard to beat if you like your wedding scenery with a healthy dose of Pacific Ocean. The Events Lawn sits above the cove with wide-open coastal views and easy access to the resort’s trails, while the Ansel Adams Room gives you an indoor option with floor-to-ceiling ocean views and a redwood deck attached. There are also the North and South Decks for outdoor cocktails, dinner or generally hanging around looking at the ocean instead of doing anything particularly productive.
For an Elopement or Wedding at Timber Cove Resort, you can keep things relatively intimate or bring up to around 120 guests, with the spaces designed to flow between indoor and outdoor areas. The resort also handles catering through Coast Kitchen, with menus built around locally sourced ingredients and Sonoma wines. As a Jenner Wedding Photographer, we’re especially into the fact that you can go from vows, to dinner, to dancing, to wandering off for coastal photos without having to spend half the day driving between venues. Basically, once everyone’s there, you can just get on with it.
How much does it cost to for a Wedding at Timber Cove Resort in Jenner and What’s Included?
Timber Cove Resort doesn’t currently list a standard price for full weddings, so larger celebrations are priced individually depending on your guest count, date and plans. For something much smaller, their current elopement package is $2,500 for up to 12 guests, plus a 10% admin charge and 9.25% sales tax. That includes use of the 26-acre property for photography and your choice of the Events Lawn or another pre-approved ceremony location. Not exactly a bad backdrop for a tiny wedding where the guest list is basically your favorite people and nobody’s weird cousin.
For a larger Wedding at Timber Cove Resort, the venue offers a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, including the Events Lawn, Ansel Adams Room, South Deck, North Deck and Coast Commune, with catering available through the resort’s Coast Kitchen team. The current wedding setup is geared toward celebrations of up to around 120 guests, and the resort also has 46 guest rooms if you want to turn the whole thing into a coastal weekend rather than making everyone drive home immediately after dancing. As a Jenner Wedding Photographer, we’re also pretty happy about the fact that the venue fee isn’t the only thing doing the heavy lifting here – you’ve got 26 acres of coastline, redwoods, trails and ridiculous ocean views to play with too.

CAMERA-WIELDING WEIRDOS, 80s kids, AND MEGA NERDS who’ve been glued at the hip since the MySpace days. We ditched the 9-to-5 grind to snap couples smoochin’ – and honestly, it’s the best damn thing ever. If you’re after some traDISH pics, you might wanna keep looking, ’cause we’re definitely not your cup of tea.
